About Us
Since 2006, “Cattail Forest” Bengals has been a small cattery in Belmont, a suburb of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Years ago, when considering names for our cattery, we decided on Cattail Forest because it seemed to carry the fairy-like essence of the Bengal breed. Bengals are so agile, graceful, inquisitive and uniquely marked, they remind us of mystical fairies. All of the newborn kittens receive fairy names that are used here at Cattail Forest until they go to their “forever homes.”
My husband, Steve, is self-employed in the furniture and appliance business and I am retired from a healthcare organization.
Cattail Forest Bengals will remain a small cattery. Kittens are raised with much handling, socialization, love and affection.
We enjoy membership with The International Cat Association (TICA) and The International Bengal Cat Society (TIBCS). Cattail Forest Cattery is registered with TICA.
